Submission Guidelines


Using a new platform can be tricky, but we are here to help. We have compiled this short FAQ list for you:


1. How can I submit a report?

To make using this application as convenient as possible for you, we have implemented three easy ways to submit a report:

  1. You can submit a report via this web form, which includes detailed instructions for every step of  the way
  2. You can submit your report via Twitter by simply using the #refugeetoemployee or #refugeemployee (Please make sure to include your location, so we can pinpoint it on the map)
  3. You can also submit your report using our SMS submission service

2. Which information should I include in my report?

If you submit an experience:

Our best advise here is - Speak from the heart! We want to hear your story, pure and authentic. Just tell us what it felt like to get to know your new employer/employee. What was the first meeting like? How did the process go? Was it easy to get in contact? What were you struggling with in the beginning?  Where did you get advise/help? 
If you have any tips for others on how to facilitate the integration process, please let them know by submitting a short tip too.

If you submit an event:

Please chose the category that is most fitting for the kind of event you would like to submit. Don't forget to state an end-time to make it easier for others to know when everything is taking place. If you can, we also advise you to leave a contact information or simply link to your homepage/ a Facebook or Eventbrite event page. You would like to promote your event so more people know about the interesting things you are going to do? Contact us so we can feature it on our blog! 

We wish you loads of fun at your gathering and of course we'd love to know how it went. Send us a report under the category 'Success stories' and share some nice pictures/learnings with the Community.

If you submit a service point:

Please state what kind of organisation you are locating and let us know what services they provide. You are very welcome to upload a picture and link to your homepage, so people can find out more about you. We work closely with community services and aid agencies all over the country and would love it if you dropped us a message here and joined our network. 

If you submit an application or a job offer:

Congratulations! You have just made the decision to be part of the change we need to form a more inclusive society. Now let us help you with your submission so you can achieve the best possible outcome for your request. Our first tip is: Be precise. State exactly what you are looking for and what you have to offer. Don't forget to include an e-mail address or any other contact info you would like to provide. Getting in touch with each other is also easy via the comment section if you prefer a more direct way to get to know your future employee/employer. You would like to keep your information more private? We understand that. Just send us a message and we will get in touch with you and find another way to get the process going. 

3. Can I submit videos or photos?

Yes, you can. We encourage using multimedia to make your report more vivid. However, this is of course not mandatory.

4. Any advise on how to do this?

No need a for fancy set-up. A simple, short video or snapshot from your phone is more than sufficient. Simply use the upload button on your submission form to get it online. If you need any more help with that please contact us here.

5. Thank you for the tips, but I still need help!

You would like to contribute a report but lack the technical equipment to do so or simply don't know where to start? Don't worry, we are happy to help. You can contact us via Facebook, the contact page on this platform or by sending is an e-mail here. We will get a skilled volunteer to help you make a short video and cover your story in a professional manner.
