From Refugee to Employee - Working together for a better Tomorrow

Sometimes the way into a brighter future is rocky: An unfamiliar environment, foreign customs and a new language to learn make the process of Integration a challenge for both newcomers and locals. We believe that finding a job is an important step to becoming part of a Community - not just considering financial independence, but mainly because the workplace is were new bonds of friendship are weaved. 'From Refugee to Employee' is a project that wants to bring people together by facilitating the process of work finding for refugees and hiring for employers.

The Initiative was founded by the non-governmental 'From Refugee to Employee' organisation. Our partners include the Universität Leipzig and the Bundesagentur für Arbeit. We act as an intermediary of workplaces for refugees and provide free counselling, skill training and workshops to improve their chances of getting hired. Simultaneously, we supply potential employers with information and guide them throughout the process of integrating refugees in their companies. Our map is an interactive platform for you to explore first hand experiences and tips of employers and refugees that have already found each other. Find information, events and service centers close to your location and most importantly: Get in touch with your Community to be inspired!
